Noah Abel, a senior at American Heritage School in Florida, has been running his homegrown bakery, Noah Stone Bakes, for several years, earning a loyal following for his artisan breads, pastries, and especially his signature challah. A proud Jewish entrepreneur, Noah has turned his baking into a platform for giving back, using challah sales to support Challahs for Israel and Challahs for Koalas after the Australian bushfires. His kitchen has become a place where tradition, community, and generosity come together.

Outside the bakery, Noah has gained experience in hospitality through restaurant work, lifeguarding, and event production. He also hosts Hospitality Unpacked, a podcast exploring trends and strategy in the industry, and leads the Hospitality Club and Kids Helping KID on campus.

His accomplishments include 1st place in FBLA Florida’s Introduction to Event Planning, top DECA awards in Hospitality and Tourism Operations Research and Hotel Management, and a 5.03 GPA in AP coursework. Noah hopes to one day own a luxury hotel, continuing to blend his love for service, culture, and philanthropy.

What You Can Learn from Noah

Noah’s story proves that you do not have to wait until adulthood to make an impact. He shows that turning a personal passion into a business can also be a way to serve your community and honor your heritage. His journey teaches the importance of starting small, staying consistent, and finding creative ways to connect your skills to causes you care about. Most importantly, it is a reminder that when you align your work with your values, success becomes about more than just profits: it becomes about leaving a legacy.
